On Monday 26th of June Year 9 pupils from Our Lady of Lourdes School presented a cheque to Malachy Nixon from the Teenage Cancer Trust. The Year 9 pupils completed a full day sponsored silence in March to help raise the money.
In total they raised £400 which was absolutely brilliant.
Malachy outlined the fantastic work which the Teenage Cancer Trust carry out to help teenagers across Northern Ireland who suffer from different types of cancer.
He also thanked the Year 9 pupils for their excellent contribution to the charity.
