On Wednesday 28th November 2018 we held our first Business Breakfast at Galgorm Resort and Spa. This innovative event forms part of our Apprenticeships and Pathways Programme where we encourage local companies to share insights, career guidance, lessons and tips to motivate and inspire young people about different pathways and careers.
Following breakfast, business leaders and organisations engaged with our Year 11 and 12 pupils to build partnerships and to help them make relevant and informed decisions about their future.
An event like this would not be possible without the support and participation of local companies and organisations. The time, energy and advice given to our pupils was truly generous and inspirational and we thank them wholeheartedly. A special word of thanks to John McGuckian of Tughan’s Corporate Law Firm who was our guest speaker and delivered valuable insights and advice to our pupils.
